
La Perla top sellers in summer 2009
Bologna, 08/09/09 The La Perla Online Shop presents the top sellers from its spring/summer 2009 collections. Classic models from the product areas of lingerie, swimwear, sleepwear and menswear sold particularly well at the La Perla Online Boutique. This result matches forecasts by La Perla. The marketing department explains: On the whole, our sales were as expected. Our main La Perla collection, luxury lingerie classics for the feminine, sophisticated woman, is always among our top sellers. As is our Joelle La Perla sleepwear collection that caters to a wide range of fashion conscious women. However, a surprise for us was the great success enjoyed by the Aquasuit swimwear collection aimed at the more mature woman. Other highlights of online sales include the La Perla Black Label collection with its rather daring items and the La Perla Glamour line. As the name implies, the soft romance and prolific lace of the Glamour collection deliver radiance and magic, yet at more affordable prices than La Perla's main brand.

La Perla - Appeal Series
This regal series from the La Perla Collection was particularly convincing for customers. Sumptuous Levears lace celebrates a pure rose motif. Delicate silk georgette is furnished with decorative back stitching that frames the Décolleté and presents a new push-up concept. Various bra selections can become stylish sets with the addition of panties chosen from a wide array of possibilities.
La Perla Black Label - Charleston Series
Elegant seduction reminiscent of the roaring twenties. Crystal, feathers and fringe are not to be done without. In homage to the girls bearing the same name, the Charleston Collection was generously received by La Perla customers. The exciting string body of satin and stretch tulle, made with loose vibrant fringe, was in particularly high demand. The double strap fastens at the neck. The small black heart on the back that reads "made with love" is but one subtle detail.
La Perla Glamour - Bouquet Series
The current La Perla Glamour Collection hints at the fresh and cheerful mood of the 1950s, as in the films with Doris Day. A symphony of pastels creates a particularly feminine flair: "pretty sweet". The Bouquet Series made from stretch silk georgette incorporates borders of chantilly lace to instill an aquarelle effect.
Joelle La Perla - Secret Series
The Joelle La Perla sleepwear collection promises pure romance. It conjures the image of a romantic garden flush with hidden paths and cascades of fragrant roses. As if your skin contains the gentle freshness of newly opened buds. With its subtle a-jour effects, the Secret Series presents a decor of satin ribbons and delicate appliqués. A select repertoire of intricate handcraft creates items with a distinctly feminine touch.
Malizia La Perla - Wild Forest Series
Impressions of paradise from the centre of the Earth. The Wild Forest Series conjures a dialogue between colours and transparencies. Lace is newly invented with a delicate, tropically inspired fern motif. In combination with white tulle covered with miniscule geometric patterns, a hypnotic game unfolds between dream and reality. The colour palette spans from white and lime green to tobacco.
Aquasuit
Warm desert tones fuse with painterly prints that combine images of both folklore and animals. Intricate appliqués seem to stem directly from an African bazaar as they adorn ethno-chic swimwear that has undergone a dye bath.
Grigioperla
Grigioperla emerges in spring/summer 2009 with both natural and classic accents. The men's collection focuses on nature materials and a reserved colour palette: Classic black and white join with grey, blue and sage. Reminiscent of times colonial, the styling is classic, but not without subtlety.
